The CMGI welcomes new staff members Dr. Brad Hobson and Lina Planutyte.
Brad is joining us as an Assistant Project Manager after receiving his PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology and working as a postdoc in Dr. Pamela Lein’s lab at UC Davis. Working within the CounterACT program, his research focused on investigating the long term neurological consequences of acute organophosphate (OP) intoxication using in vivo imaging.
Lina returns to CMGI as a radiochemist after earning her Master’s degree in Biotechnology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She works closely with the center’s radiochemistry manager to produce custom PET radiotracers and maintain a functional and safe radiochemistry lab.
