The CMGI would like introduce and welcome new staff members Jenny Verschuur and Sydney Baker.
Jenny fills the role of Executive Assistant to Dr. Simon Cherry as well as helping to provide administrative assistance to the CMGI. A native of Venezuela, Jenny made her way to Sacramento 8 years ago and for the last 4 1/2 years has worked for the chair of the Department of Radiology.
Sydney is joining the team as an imaging research associate. She studied Animal Science at Purdue University and completed her master’s in Animal Biology at UC Davis. Since graduating, she has worked in immuno-oncology research in genetically modified mice.
